Planning a trip or facing an unexpected absence? Our AAHA-accredited Melbourne practice offers much more than a veterinarian for your pet—we provide a safe, caring, and comforting home-away-from-home experience.
Clean, Secure Accommodations
We provide air-conditioned runs and cages for dogs, ensuring every pup stays comfortable. Each dog is individually leash walked outside at least three times daily, with extra outings available as needed.
Plenty of toys, cozy blankets, and accessible bowls are provided for added comfort—though we ask you to leave personal items at home to keep their environment safe and easy to clean.
Cats receive special consideration, too—with a quieter, dedicated feline space designed to reduce stress and help them unwind.
Nourishment & Hydration
We typically feed our boarders Science Diet twice daily, but welcome your pet’s regular food—except raw diets, which we avoid for safety reasons. Fresh water is always available.
Spa Treatments & Hygiene
Add-on bathing services include ear cleaning, nail trims, and if requested, anal gland expression—a refreshing bonus for pets returning home clean and relaxed.
Special Care & Medical Oversight
Pets with medical needs—like diabetics or those needing multiple daily medications—receive extra, individualized attention. If a pet becomes ill, our on‑duty doctors are notified promptly, and non-emergency treatment proceeds only after your approval.
Holiday & Long-Term Stays
For holiday reservations, a $50 deposit secures your spot, fully refundable if you cancel and we are able to rebook it. Long-term stays receive discounted rates—just ask us about the specifics.
Helping Anxious Pets Feel at Home
If your pet becomes anxious when away from home, we have strategies to help them relax:
- Quiet Spaces – Dogs and cats are kept separately in calm, secure areas to reduce stress.
- Routine & Walks – For dogs, regular individual leash walks break up the day and provide familiar structure.
- Comfort Through Enrichment – Toys and blankets offer distraction and comfort; frequent staff interactions help anxious pets feel seen.
- Calming Music – We play soft, calming music throughout the facility to help pets feel more at ease and create a peaceful environment.
- Veterinary Support – For highly anxious pets, we can coordinate herbal or medicated calming protocols, in consultation with their veterinarian.
Why Choose Us?
As an AAHA-accredited hospital, we meet stringent standards in safety, care, and cleanliness—same as our medical services. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or an extended stay, you can trust that your pet will be in attentive, loving hands.
