Dr. Addante

DVM

Born and raised in Northern California near Sacramento, Dr. Addante developed an early love for animals thanks to her mother, who—having grown up without many pets—encouraged her children to welcome all kinds of creatures into their home. “We brought home lizards, rabbits, fish—anything that captured our hearts,” she recalls. That unconditional love for animals, combined with frequent family camping and boating adventures, sparked a lasting passion for wildlife and science and ultimately led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University and now primarily cares for dogs and cats, while also treating rabbits, pocket pets, and reptiles. She has a special interest in acupuncture and palliative care for senior pets and is continually expanding her knowledge in exotic animal medicine. “I want to provide the best possible care for every patient, no matter the species,” she says.
What she loves most about veterinary medicine is the variety of cases and the ever-evolving nature of the field. “No two days are ever the same, and I’m always learning something new,” she explains. Her goal with every visit is simple: to deliver high-quality care while supporting and educating each pet’s family.

Outside of the clinic, she is an active member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic. She is happily married and a proud mother of two boys. Her household also includes two sighthounds—a Greyhound mix and a Whippet—as well as a Leopard Gecko.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, working out, and creating art. One of her favorite books is The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. She strives to live by a simple philosophy: “Live like it’s your last day.”
