At Animal Medical Clinic, we carry a variety of diets to meet your pet's needs. We have researched the various pet food lines available and have we have settled on the one that we believe has the best products for most pets. We also have four different lines of prescription diets available for pets with nutritional medical requirements.

Flea and Tick Products

Many of the questions we get relate to the control of fleas and ticks. Some of the most commonly used products are listed below:
  • Sentinel - Our primary recommendation for dogs. It combines an effective flea control product with heartworm and intestinal parasite prevention for a safe, convenient and effective monthly treatment.

  • Program - Contains the same flea control ingredient as Sentinel, but without the heartworm and intestinal worm prevention.
    		•
  • Capstar - A tablet used to kill fleas on dogs and cats. Capstar begins working within 30 minutes and will kill more than 90% of adult fleas within 4 hours on dogs and 6 hours on cats. Capstar stays in their system for 24 hours.
  • Comfortis - Comfortis chewable tablets kill fleas and are indicated for the prevention and treatment of flea infestations on dogs for one month.
  • Revolution and Advantage Multi are our recommended products for cats. They prevent fleas, heartworms, intestinal worms and ear mites.
